This fancy gentleman in the top hat snagged my eye in the dental care section of the supermarket today, upon closer inspection I realized the characters under DARLIE say “Black person tooth paste” and on a few other sides of the box it says “Black person!”
China does some zany shit, but this is out there even by their standards.

The wikipedia page says they ran an ad after they changed the English name from “Darkie” to “Darlie,” assuring their loyal customers that, indeed, “Black person toothpaste is still black person toothpaste.” Phew. What a relief!
